It’s been a while since last blog. Today I’ll write about the ride towards Mursko Sredisce using less common path, and about the ride downwards river Mura and than back home.

Biciklistička ruta 559424 – powered by Bikemap

OK, it was this route. It was warm and relatively cloudy day, it was going to rain, but not everywhere. Summer is like that, it can rain here, and not rain at all few hundred meters away. I’ve been lucky that day, it rained twice! :)

Little panorama for start. Medjimurje, (relatively) wide and (relatively) flat. :)

Path led me to village named Vratisinec, near it’s cemetery is this monument dedicated to victims of war. (Both ww2, and homeland war.)

Cemetery is on the outskirts of the village, so while I was riding towards it, the dark clouds rolled over and created this photo opportunity. The sun was still shining trough the clouds and the light falling on the church was really beautiful. Unfortunately it was wrong part of the day to have better composition.

After Vratisinec, I’ve continued towards Mursko Sredisce, to the lakes on the end of the town. To be more precise. I didn’t photograph anything worth showing, so I’ve continued to ride my bike few kilometers further to the east. I’ve wanted to go to the Mura river, but the when I looked on  the sky, I’ve changed my mind.

And this photo was created:

Couple seconds after I’ve made this shot, the summer shower started. Easy and slow, it was falling. I’ve took shelter on the nearby bus stop. I waited couple of minutes, and the shower rolled over to south.
Here is a video to back up my claim about summer shower. :)

As soon it stopped, I’ve continued the ride to the east and near the Miklavec village, this photo was taken.

Dark clouds on the left, sun low from the right, lone tree by the pathway, what could I wish more?

RAINBOW! I here you shouting! :)
Photobucket
Yes, yes. Few kilometers further near the Celine village another shower caught me. Luckily for me, there was another bus stop  where I could hide from the rain. As I waited, clouds moved east, sun broke from the west, and there was this beautiful rainbow! For a long time I didn’t see full rainbow, not to mention photographing it. Well, luck served me that day. So, I’ve took this photo, set on my silver arrow :D and pedaled towards the home. :)

Thank you for visiting, next time, I believe the blog will be all about sea and vacation!

Here we are, last blog in the series from Hungary. As you guessed it’s about buffalo nature reserve. Basically it’s dedicated to the survival and the conservation of genome of the indigenous buffalo in Hungary.  The park isn’t really big, small enough you can walk trough it, big enough for animals to have plenty of space.

On tables as this one you can find out about flora and fauna of the park.

Path leads trough part where the cattle freely roams.

Animal on the photo wasn’t in good mood, it took a quick move  towards us (me), so we had to move from the fence for a while. :)

Photobucket
No wonder why are they nervous…

A few more photos of the gray cattle.

This reserve is also interesting place. The ticket price is little less than 2 euros, and animals are interesting. So, let me encircle my impressions from trip to Hungary. If my last four blogs in some case are not enough, it was GREAT! :D I hope I’ll have a chance to take visit to our neighbors sooner than later. That’s all for now. Next time, something completely different! ;)

If you’d like to visit the park it’s location is here:
