Today I’m bringing set of early morning photos, from nearby Drava river. I went there together with Davors, or to be precise with Davorinom and Davor. Double d, if you remember the cartoon.
There is not much to write about, early morning, fog over the river, clouds on the sky, and sun rises in the distance. For any landscape photographer, this is almost a definition of nirvana.
I’m a person who likes almost everything but to get up from the bed in early morning but, there are some thing that are worth of getting up in the black night, to get to the place before the dawn and to enjoy the beginning of the new day. There is something special when over horizon you suddenly see little peace of that fire ball that we call Sun, the feeling when the first morning light shine upon you, still sleepy and little frozen. The feeling that’s priceless. And than, in the end of the day, you have photos that remind you about that feelings, and get you will to live, no matter how is life treating you in the moment.
Sunrises are something special…

Using long exposure I’ve got enough light to get the redness that dawn started to paint.

This was little before the sun rise.

I’ve liked this little spice that moving clouds added here.

And finally, the sun is out. But, it was quickly covered with clouds.

Though I love wide angle lens and perspective that they offer, from time to time, telephoto lens can be used to get lovely landscape photos. I believe that two pictures above confirm that.

I didn’t cling to telephoto for too long. My faithful wide angle lens quickly came back on.

And to wrap it all up, a calm river photo. Thank you for the visit! Next time, were going up hills!
